John has an entrepreneurial leadership background spanning over 25 years focusing on helping fast growing companies recruit, retain, and develop key managers and employees and aligning Human Capital programs to the business to drive performance.

Collaborating with founders, CEOs and Boards and leveraging his broad and deep relationships he helps entrepreneurs recruit the best talent and provides strategic guidance in the areas of human capital strategy including: executive leadership, talent, recruiting, compensation, rewards and team building.  He specializes in start-up, turn-around, and privately held companies in competitive environments where speed, innovation, and the ability to outsmart larger competitors are essential – WHERE THE BEST TEAM WINS! 

John has completed C-level and senior leader placements across technology and consumer package goods companies.  Additionally he has served as the COO for start-up company Launch Pad – a CPG company growing to $50MM in just over 3 years and was instrumental in helping to grow the Oxi Clean brand profits by 176% - eventually selling for an incredible multiple of 19.1x EBITDA.  John was an early team member helping to grow privately held IAMS Company by 400% eventually being sold to P&G for +$2.0B.

John is a Growth Advisor for the Blackstone Entrepreneur Network.  The network identifies promising young start-up and mid-sized companies and provides meaningful connections and services to help these companies scale. Additionally, John is a Lead Mentor with Exponential Impact - A business accelerator for tech-based startups with the drive to hit the ground running and never look back!

Human Capital Consultant
Ty has diverse talent acquisition, talent management, and business operations experiences which span Information Technology, CPG, Retail, Logistics/Supply Chain, and Healthcare.

​Before joining SparkHouse, Ty was the Clinic Director for Sidney Health Center in Sidney, Montana where she successfully ran clinic operations as well as talent acquisition and management in a highly competitive healthcare market. Prior to this experience, Ty directed Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for CLA, a consumer packaged goods sales and marketing consulting firm, and H&C Animal Health, a CPG manufacturing company.

Graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth, with a B.B.A. and pursing her master’s from Montana State University Billings, Ty has more than 10 years of Human Capital consulting experiences. Ty approaches any client relationship in a consultative and empathetic manner - she genuinely places herself in the client’s shoes to gain a full understanding what cultural fit and technical ability is required for each search or consulting assignment - making her a valued asset to clients and the SparkHouse team.
